Husband and wife songwriters, Joshua Banner and Susanna Childress began writing music during the period of their long distance engagment from December 2004 and May 2005. Much of their understanding and familiarity with each other grew while writing and singing together during their breif visits and even over the phone. Ordinary Neighbors was originally a title Josh used to identify his newer musical experiementations since his return to Oklahoma City in 2003.
