Only Zuul (formed 2005 in Portland, OR) is a heavily thrash-based technical death metal band with influences including doom, black metal and grind-core. The band’s major focus is on combining crushing heaviness and dissonance with layered melodies; incorporating operatic singing with the more traditional black, death, and thrash metal styles.
