Formed in early 2009 at Syracuse University, Northbound Traveling Minstrel Jug Band plays a combination of acoustic bluegrass, folk-rock, and jam-based blues. Having shared the bill with national touring acts like U-Melt, Jazz Mandolin Project, Zach Deputy, Rubblebucket, Hot Day at The Zoo, Barefoot Truth, and The Dirty Guv’nahs, just to name a few, Northbound is gradually making a name for themselves within the modern Americana/jam scene.
