Their story goes like this. Baritone guitarist Chris Turner (originally from Toronto, Canada) and guitarist Matt Fox met while living in Cambodia, where they played together in The I Love You Band. A few years later they moved to Melbourne and founded the humble indie rock act Soaring Eagle (now on hiatus). The pair then recruited drummer Troy Coxhill from the Nintendo-damaged duo TV For Cats.
