Night’s Bright Colors is the recording project of Asheville, NC-based musician Jason Smith. Since 2002, NBC has recorded nine full length albums including the multi-disc collections Recessive Traits, Hospital, and Absinthe Twilight. Described as “a fascinating DIY production…a soundtrack for bittersweet happiness…” (Komakino), the music draws from a variety of sources including rock, pop, ambient, electronic, folk, psychedelic, and classical music.
