Neuseiland was a Canadian band formed in 1998 out of the remains of many other Halifax, Nova Scotia, bands (including The Superfriendz, Coyote, the Euphonic, and Thrush Hermit), the name being derived from a Dutch children's book by Annie Schmidt called The Island of Nose. With members
