Based in the Washington, D.C. area, the band describes their music as "old-fashioned rock and roll for modern times." Their original compositions feature dense lyrics blurring melancholy desperation and positive passion, generally accompanied either by guitar-driven hard rock or lush, piano-based ballads - with some stark acoustic songs in between.
