Mucky the Ducky is a group hailing from Davis California, based originally off of a solo project of the same name, by Sean Johannessen. He added and subtracted members temporarily for many shows, until finally forming a three piece group with Gareth Ewing and John Brumley, both music students from UC Davis. They played several shows in that configuration in and around the Davis/Sacramento area, until adding percussionist Jon Bafus in early 2009.
