The carnivalesque brain-freeze that is Mr. Free and the Satellite Freakout is spasmodic, schizophrenic and somehow still grounded in songs you can’t shake. This band must been seen to be believed. Mr. Free, he is not just a singer- he’s a performer. Often with bizarre makeup, costumes, and drooling paint, this group doesn’t just play…they put on a show. Freely winding his way through the audience, toying with fans—getting in their faces, rubbing against them, sitting among them.
