The Family was released as a single by EMI in 1974 and was the theme tune to the groundbreaking BBC television series of the same name.It was written by Dave Brooks(See Dave Brooks biography for more information)The name of The Family was The Wilkins who at the time lived in Reading.The track can be found on Gather in the mushrooms and also on Magpie 20 junkshop ads and themes.
