Colin Brown and his cohorts enlisted Better Than Ezra bassist Tom Drummond to record their debut full-length CD, “Underwater Demolition,” in 2000. The album merged the musicians’ New Wave and modern rock influences into a distinct sound. Interwoven electric and acoustic guitars, supplied by Mr. Brown and fellow guitarist Michael Blum, were at the heart of Motorway’s sound.
