Mother Pearl from Mölnlycke, Sweden formed in 2001, and consist of Oscar Olandersson, Birger Wikström, Daniel Sjöstrand and Gustaf Hedström. The last-named replaced Kristoffer Bohlin on the drums in 2007. The music is inspired by funk and hardrock and by the band described as funkrock or funkhardrock. In late summer 2008 they released their first album: "Long time comin".
