Minor Authority was formed in late 2004 by Nathan Harris and original guitarist Steve Kicreast. The punk rock duo began playing in clubs and dive bars with only their guitars and a drum machine, but because of the lack of songs a typical MA set was only 10 minutes long. After Steve left the band to start his own blues solo project, Nate tried to recruit new members into the band, with little success.
