In the spring of 2007, guitarist Rory Lindsay, bassist Tristan Samuk, and drummer Andrew McMullen met vocalist Liana Rose. Dubbing themselves Ministry of the Environment, they wrote a fresh batch of tunes and began playing monthly shows in Toronto venues. October 9, 2008 marked the release of their first disc, “An EP.”
