Michael Monroe "Mike" Merritt (born July 28, 1955) is an American bassist best known for playing with The Max Weinberg 7 on the late night television show Late Night with Conan O'Brien. As of June 1, 2009, the Max Weinberg 7 has been renamed Max Weinberg and the Tonight Show Band as the band made the move to Los Angeles to be the house band for The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien.
