Mia Calderon Concert History
Born in San Francisco’s eclectic Mission District, Mia Calderón soaked up everything her surroundings had to offer: vibrant arts, diverse music, and a connection to her Hispanic roots. She developed a love for Tahitian, Mexican, and Spanish folk dancing and soon began performing as a professional mariachi singer. At the center of her hypnotic sound, one can find Mia Calderon’s musical roots. Calderón listened to everything from tango, be-bop, bossa nova, samba and rhythm and blues.
