Metal Carter cresce ascoltando Hardcore, Heavy Metal e hip hop, che sfrutta come valvola di sfogo per i suoi problemi. I suoi testi infatti svariano dal proprio disagio interiore, alla violenza delle liriche espresse in Sangue (album), alla droga , fino a scendere al sesso o in molti casi all'ironia e la demenza, abbondante in alcune canzoni come la ormai nota "Pagliaccio di Ghiaccio",oppure "Boy Band" del 2005.
