Meredith Jordan is one of Canada’s most promising new artists. Hailing from the Saskatchewan prairies, she grew up surrounded by the sounds of Joni Mitchell and James Taylor, but it was her jazz tendencies that led her to attend the Humber College Music Program in Toronto. When Jordan met Douglas Romanow (of Fire Escape Recording), they began recording her music and developing her songs. In the summer of 2007, Jordan was awarded a demo FACTOR grant.
