Mercury In Summer is a jazz fusion/funk rock band from Washington, D.C., United States. Since forming in early 2009, Mercury in Summer has taken the D.C. Metro area by storm with their catchy songs, and riveting live performance. Heavily influenced by Jazz, Fusion, and Funk, MIS brings instrumental proficiency to pop songs along with a sense of melodic and rhythmic complexity that is unheard of in today’s music.
