Memphis 59 is a rock band that hails from Arlington, Virginia. Their music can be described as a combination of rock, alt-country, and pop. Members include Scott Kurt (vocals/guitar), Jon Manitta (guitar), Chris Zogby (drums), and Rich Lewis (bass). Scott and Jon have been playing and writing together for a few years and with the addition of Chris and Rich, Memphis 59 was born. They are sonically influenced by Tom Petty, Paul Westerberg, The Old 97's, and too many more to list.
