Melancholy underground strangeness from the mountains of Western North Carolina, May Family Reunion is currently playing out and releasing albums throughout the Southern-Atlantic region of the U.S. May family is beginning to ride the wave of a new 'weird-folk' movement, and their recognition is growing. The band also works with a Russian painter named Elena Klimenko. Lena lives in Moscow, and her art is the visual representation of the May Family sound.
