American composer and Great Highland Bagpipe player born in 1976. Having studied composition under Barry Truax, Rodney Sharman, Alvin Lucier and Anthony Braxton and Great Highland Bagpipe under Colin MacLellan, Jack Lee, Angus MacLellan & Andrew Wright, he holds a BA from Simon Fraser University (1999) and an MA from Wesleyan University (2001). He has composed in a range of styles, from traditionalist bagpipe music to electronic pieces for solo to ensemble to orchestral arrangements...
