Matt Sharp is a former bassist for Weezer and lead singer/multi-instrumentalist for his own band The Rentals. Matt Sharp was with Weezer during "The Blue Album" and "Pinkerton" eras, and then moved on to play full time for The Rentals which spawned two full-length releases in the 90s, "Return of the Rentals" and "Seven More Minutes" as well as a number of rarities and b-sides.
