Matt Groening is an award-winning American cartoonist best known as the creator of successful television series The Simpsons and Futurama as well as the comic strip Life In Hell. Groening is a founder of comic book publishing companies Bongo Comics and Zongo Comics. He also plays cowbell for novelty rock band The Rock Bottom Remainders.
