Mason Rex (Born Rex Gregory Zielesch on September 25, 1983) is an American singer-songwriter from Woodland, California. He does not believe in tailoring music to fit any one genre but harnessing the spirit any applicable genre to serve a song. His influences are as ranged and eclectic as his set list, but are mostly comprised of the music of old. A stone mason by trade, Rex spends most of his consciousness dreaming about songs and words, then spends evenings pulling them out into the real world.
