Martin Zellar is the former frontman of the Geardaddies, an alt country Minnosota band that experienced modest success in the late 80's - early 90's. If you have ever heard "I want to drive the Zamboni" at a hockey game you have heard the Gear daddies. Zellar has been making records and touring with the Hardways since the band split in 1992. Zellar has a great growl with straight forward folksy lyrics. Zellar has limited his touring over the last few years due to an adverse reaction to cigarette smoke.
