Martin Hayes & Dennis Cahill was the pairing of Irish fiddler Martin Hayes and American guitarist Dennis Cahill (born 16 June 1954; died 20 June 2022). The pair garnered international renown for traditional music while incorporating aspects of classical, blues and jazz. The New York Times called them "a Celtic complement to Steve Reich’s quartets or Miles Davis’ ‘Sketches of Spain'. They later were the members of The Gloaming, an Irish-American 'supergroup'.
