American guitarist, banjoist, mandolin player, engineer, and producer. He has worked with John Hartford, Johnny Cash, Vassar Clements, The Carter Family, Earl Scruggs, Nanci Griffith, and Riders In The Sky, among others. He owns the Signal Path Sound studio in Nashville, Tennessee.
