Young Chicago upstarts Ghetto Division have been said to be making their “own lane in the club music game.” Integral to the group is MaddJazz, a SouthSider by way of Guadalajara, Mexico. MaddJazz has been honing his innovative style for nearly fifteen years. By 18 years old he was already DJing at raves, loft parties and clubs. Influenced by these early raves as well as his start in the turntablism scene ‐ where he placed 3rd three years in a row at the DMC Chicago heats.
