Madahoochi plays a high energy blend of rock, funk, jazz, soul, and pop and has been something of an institution in the St. Louis scene for some time now. Formed in 95-96 the band has played hundreds of shows most years since their inception, sporadically wandering outside the greater St. Louis area to various venues across the midwest and a number of festivals. Despite local reknown , they have only gained limited recognition outside their home city and a few regional college towns - Columbia and Springfield in MO, Carbondale IL, etc.
