The year was 1998: Smoking had just been banned in California restaurants, President Clinton was denying “…sexual relations with that woman,” and three 12-year-olds boys were carving wooden spoons in their 5th period shop class. Over rasp and file they began to talk. Young Joe Senna (guitar/vocals), Blake Spurlock (guitar/vocals), and Minh Ngo (drums) soon realized they all shared the same musical dream. It was here, right before lunch in a suburban Sacramento classroom, that an enduring friendship and middle school band were born.
