Lyn Saga grew up in a small town in northern New Jersey and played in several pop-punk bands that performed in local venues. She later moved to Philadelphia for college where she explored a wide range of musical genres from acoustic folk music to electronic drum and bass music that was often played at nearby South Street and Fishtown venues.
