Lucky Suns formed in the Summer 2006. With Dru Deiner's ambitious vision of a true American roots sound, he started off with a harmonica and a guitar, then teamed up with renowned Denver guitarist, T. Fresh, who brought some fine songwriting skills to the table. The pair soon hooked up with pedal steel guitarist Houston McCoy, who immediately gave the sound a stamp of authenticity by using an instrument that is hard to find in the big city “and even harder to learn!” states Houston.
