Love is Over formed in the summer of 2011 by Victor La Rocco (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar) and Steven Gay (Lead Guitar). They began putting material together and brought in Justin Fife to play bass guitar. In late October the band brought in Cameron Sheer to play drums. The band recorded "Happiness Machines" and "I have everything I could ever want" in late 2011 and released both on SoundCloud.
