Born to Iranian Olympic Athlete parents, LouLou grew up in Paris, France. After moving from Europe to Rockville, Maryland she met Eric Hilton and Rob Garza of Thievery Corporation at the Eighteenth Street Lounge and they loved her voice from the beginning. After joining Thievery she was always moving around...restless...finally she opened her suitcase in Rochester, NY and decided to stay for a while. She ran into Discolobos, Ada le O, and the Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, all of which she has/still is collaborating with.
