Brussels born Liesa Van der Aa started playing the violin at the age of 5. The purchase of loop station and various effect pedals helped her creating an interesting and unheard of sound. Using solely voice and violin, she experiments with, creates and adapts her own compositions live. Later on she decided an accompanying band would add the right energy to her songs and she went looking for appropriate musicians.
