Lisa Gatewood is a singer/songwriter skilled at crafting some of the saddest contemporary folk songs you've ever laid ears on. Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, she graduated with honors from the Milwaukee High School of the Arts. Gatewood later attended the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Theatre Studies. Although Lisa recorded her first demo in 2000 with Victor DeLorenzo at Joe's Real Recording, she only began performing her original music live in 2005.
