Lisa Ferraro was born in the Pittsburgh, PA area. When I first heard her perform I was entranced. She usually sings "old standards"; I think of her as a "torch singer". I have purchased several of her CD's and she REALLY does sound just as good live, if not better. She recently moved to California and tours the country, but continues to perform in western PA since her family is here. If you have an opportunity to see her perform, you won't be disappointed.
