Leather Leone started her career as a lead vocalist of a Heavy Metal band Chastain, led by guitarist and composer David T. Chastain. With Chastain she recorded five albums: Mystery of Illusion (1985), Ruler of the Wasteland (1986), The 7th of Never (1987), The Voice of the Cult (1988) and For Those Who Dare (1990). In 1989 she released her first (and last) solo album under the name Leather - Shock Waves. David T. Chastain produced the album and also contributed with the songwriting.
