Piano & guitar-playing Memphis sweetheart Lauren Strange made her first splash in the music scene at 9 years of age when she wrote, recorded, and entered her first song in a school songwriting contest, where she won first place. From early on in her career, Lauren has received numerous comparisons likening her voice to that of her musical idol, Alison Krauss. Now 22, Lauren is a student at the University of Memphis, where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology as well as a minor in music.
