La Forte is an indie rock band from Duluth, Minnesota formed in 2005. They consist of members Dan Rosen on guitar and vocals, Jonathan Halquist on keyboards, Gunthrie Cunningham on drums, and Jon Anderson on bass -- all with an average age of about 18. Their sound is described as very ambient and draws inspiration from bands like Modest Mouse, Explosions in the Sky, and Duluth locals Low. The band is currently unsigned and has not released any full-lengths, but links to free downloads of all their songs are currently available on their Myspace.
