Dark, gothic-tinged post-punk from San Francisco. La Corde has played shows from Vancouver to Tijuana with Cat Party, Arctic Flowers, Airfix Kits, Rank / Xerox, Defektors, Vapid, and others. After a self-titled EP released by the band in 2010, they joined up with Cat Party for the Rik L. Rik split on Resurrection Records in 2011, followed by the Unmarked Doors EP on Pyrrhic Victory Records in 2012, all the while drawing comparisons to bands as varied as Fugazi, Wipers, the Cure, and the Estranged.
