Swiss folk music is an old, respectable, light brown painted car of a grandfather. It has been standing in the garage behind the house during many years. On a boring Sunday afternoon, the grandchildren notice that this dusty piece of crap is a hidden pearl. That’s how Kummerbuben fell on Swiss folk music, and that’s how they treat it – like on old, run down car. You have to hammer a few times on it, paint some strange birds on the lacquer and hang a skeleton on the driving mirror, before you can begin to like it.
