Kate Anderson started to discover music in first grade on piano. She had taken lessons from then on, until her eighth grade year, where she then switched those lessons for saxophone lessons. By her fifth grade year, she had started to play the alto sax. Once she progressed to the sixth grade band, she knew that was what she wanted to do with the rest of her life; to be a professional musician. Ever since then, Kate has been determined to get better every day to reach her lifetime goal.
