Born and raised in Portland, Maine, Kaiti moved to Nashville in 2006 to pursue her love of music and to connect with her southern roots (her mother hails from Memphis). For the past few years, she has been working diligently on her songwriting and musicality, soaking up the rich Nashville sound by which she found herself surrounded. Her efforts culminated in the making of the Arise Child EP, recorded in the summer of 2008 with producer/engineer Mike Odmark (Tyler James, Aaron Roche, Alva Leigh, Jars of Clay).
