Kai Welch is a singer and songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Nashville, TN. In 2007, Tommy Hans, Jamie Dick, Thomas Samuel, Nathan Hughes and Kai formed Tommy and the Whale. Their debut album, "The Art House Sessions" was released in 2007. Their second CD, "Shot for the Moon" followed in 2008.
