As a 5-year-old, Kahani used to sit on the kitchen counter of his childhood home recording mixtapes on an old radio cassette player. While jumping between New York's top radio stations and a single South Asian radio station, available only during certain hours of the day, the mixtapes were carefully crafted blends of two completely different worlds. This passion gave birth to his never-ending desire to merge the sounds of the east and west. Over the years he has experimented with live performances...
