Julian Barratt Pettifer was born on the 4th of may 1968 in Leeds. He has two children with comedy star Julia Davis. He is best known for his role as Howard Moon in the British radio and television comedy series The Mighty Boosh, which he co-stars and writes with his comedy partner Noel Fielding. Julian writes all of the music that appears in The Mighty Boosh with help from Noel Fielding and Dave Brown. In The Mighty Boosh he plays a larger than life version of his himself where he is usually the butt of jokes.
