Jonathan Scales Concert History

Jon Scales Fourchestra (steel pan jazz) is a steel drum-led experimental jazz project. When most people think steel drums, they think of a Caribbean lilt—the sort of breezy hip-shaking groove that goes well with frosty rum drinks. Not Scales: Though the musician can play sunny island-inspired tunes, he prefers jazz-fusion compositions and lately has been teaming up with the likes of percussionist Jeff Sipe and jazz saxophonist Jeff Coffin.
