Johnny socko's 1996 Concert History

Johnny Socko started off as a ska-funk band from Bloomington Indiana. Socko's song Jacknife is on the Dillinquents Green compilation, released on Dill records. Socko toured the entire U.S. and helped spread the craze that was 3rd wave ska. The band has broken up now. The trombone player, Charlie Krone, moved to the band, The Born Again Floozies, as did Joey Welch, the guitar player. The trombone player after Charlie, Nils, joined Crowfoot. The sax player, Josh Silbert, briefly left Socko to make a band called ESW.
